❤ Raw Stuffed Red Peppers “Samosas” ❤
* I n g r e d i e n t s *
— 1 head of Cauliflower, broken up into florets
— 5 cloves of Garlic, freshly peeled
— 1 bunch of fresh Chives, lightly chopped
— Corn on the cob, 2 cups worth, cut straight off the cob
— Extra Veggies you have on hand that need to be eaten (I had fresh peas from the garden, and 1 chopped red pepper)
— 4 Red Peppers, tops cut off & centers hollowed out
— OPTIONAL: Sea Salt, Hot Peppers, Avocado, Hemp Seeds, Olive Oil, etc. for more flavor, and/or fat, but *only* if you really need it! =)
— Edible Flowers, for the garnish, if you are able
* P r e p a r a t i o n *
— 1) Lightly blend cauliflower florets and garlic cloves together in a food processor until the consistency and appearance is something along the lines of couscous or quinoa.
— 2) Add the freshly chopped chives, and lightly mix in food processor just until chives are evenly distributed.
— 3) Transfer to a bowl, and with a mixing spoon mix in the 2 cups of corn, as well as any other extra veggies you have on hand which need to be eaten, and any of the optional ingredients that you might want to add today.
— 4) Scoop resulting mixture into the 4 hollowed out red peppers.
— 5) Garnish with edible flowers.
— 6) Serve and enjoy!

Since someone will inevitably ask, the recipe for Green Lemonade is below:
(Make with a JUICER! Juice in this order…)
1 head romaine lettuce
5-6 stalks kale
2 apples
1 lemon (including rind)
1 tbsp fresh ginger root
I’m excited about all the cross-training I’m doing – mixing rock climbing with tennis with running with swimming with kettlebells – I feel like I’m working my body in new ways ALL the time… and I FEEL the difference, even only exercising 3x/week. I think it’s an interesting observation.
Diet-wise: For breakfast I’m eating mostly fruit, and right now what a JOY that is! Everything, it seems, is in season. I’m eating melons, peaches, bananas, tons of blue- straw- and rasp-berries and grapes and apples, plums, apricots, and oranges. I’m eating every hour or so, so I basically have 3-4 small breakfasts as “breakfast.” Each meal follows the structure of food combining (see my FAQ for charts) and so I’m feeling very healthy
Lunch is *fingers-crossed* a SALAD (I need to remember this) followed by a Lara Bar and some nuts. Later I have several small meals at home, or one big meal out — depending on the day/my plans. When I’m eating at home I have toast or cheese and crackers or popcorn and soup… whatever I want that’s in plan and relatively healthy

Type-2 diabetes has been on the rise for the last 25 years, mainly due to poor dietary choices. http://www.WatchMojo.com speaks with Rick Gallop, creator of the G.I. Diet, to learn about this popular lifestyle.
I said that the child had 150lbs to loose, that maybe off….maybe only 100
I am not sure of the amount of food that the Dr. told her to eat. I think its 1 1/2 lbs of fruits and 11/2lbs of veggies a day….Whatever it is she can do it on her own. I know it has been a long time coming for me and I may sound like a hypocrite, I just know now that loosing weight can be done without the use of drugs and I think that they should give it a try…..how will she ever keep it off if she has to pay this Dr $75 bi-weekly to stay thin…..At 16 $150 a month will look better in a saving account than in the Dr pocket…..I didn’t mention that she has been to the same Diet Dr that I have visited in the past and she put all that weight back on plus some…..She also said that she has bad head pains and is still wanting to eat….So is it working……I love this little girl and I just want better for her….I hope her mother understood what I was saying, however I don’t think so she hasn’t called me in two days.
I guess she’s upset, I had to ask her to just try the raw foods slowly and watch her child change before her eyes.
